Look what's for supper tonight!

I love fresh veggies from the garden. There's nothing that compares to the taste.YUM YUM.

So finally my green beans came in!YEAH And since I can't take the heat, I got up at 6:30 this morning and picked green beans. I already have them cooking and can't wait to dig in.
So tonight I am having green beans with new potatoes, homemade biscuits, garden cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. And since this has put me in such a great mood, I am fixing blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Wow doesn't this sound delicious? Until next time...

sounds like an Iowa summer supper to me! Do you put bacon or ham in your beans and potatoes? For us, it is black raspberries right now. Hubby picked a bucket full before the birds woke up! Looks like I will be canning green beans.........

My husband is a vegetarian so I have to sneak bacon grease in the beans.LOL I will be canning green beans the first of the week. Looks like I might have at least a bushel by then.
