My Storage Bench

I have wanted a storage bench for my living room for years. And then last summer, someone left one at the daycare for whoever wanted it. Well I jumped on it. Yeah!! It needed a bottom and back and of course I had to do a makeover on it to match my living room. So I sanded it, painted it brown, sanded it and painted it blue. Then I sanded it again and put a coat of matte finish on it to protect it.

Very soon I am going to make a cushion to go on the seat but I just had to show you what it looks like now. I'm not sure whether to put buttons on each fake drawer on the front or not. What do you think?

I love it! You did a great job on the makeover. The blue is a beautiful color. It's hard to picture it with buttons on the drawers. I would put some scotch tape on the buttons and lightly press them on to see what it looks like. Then if you like it, you can glue them on.
