Something I Have Never Seen

I love antiques! My kids know I do even if they don't understand it.LOL Well I thought I had seen it all until I got my Mother's Day gift from Laura, my youngest daughter. She found this at a yard sale and the man told her he was sure it could be painted and made to look better. Well she laughed and told him he just didn't understand, this is the way I would want it.LOL So have you ever seen one of these. I'm not telling what it is until I hear some responses. By the way, I LOVE
It!!!!

I haven't deciced if I am going to leave it just like it is or make something to fit inside it. Hmmmmm, pin keep??? Or daisies??? I have to think about this.LOL

my mom had one, we crushed ice in it. don't know if it officially is one or not. at times we also used it to chop our cracked walnuts too. worked well.

I'm with Marilyn. It's an ice crusher. Pretty cool looking!

My parents had one too just like that. It was attached to the cupboard in dad's garage with a red plastic "cup" on the bottom. I used to love to use it as a kid! ~*~Lisa

I am gonna guess it is an ice shaver? I remember seeing something like this at my grandmother's restaurant and that is what she used it for.
