HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I want to wish every one of my blogging friends a very HAPPY, BLESSED and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!
Brenda from The Rusty Thimble made an interesting New Years idea. Instead of making resoulutions, set goals for yourself. So this year I have decided to set some goals for me. I am going to be reasonable because I know that I can only do so much.
But I am going to try to get organized and set times for certain things. I have decided to try to sell 100 items this year. I am also going to organize my house so that I can keep it clean and still have time to craft. I am going to start playing my fiddle again. It calms me when nothing else can and I miss playing it. I have let everthing get in the way and this year I am going to make at least 30 minutes a day for playing my fiddle. I am also going to take time to read blogs every day, even if its just a few each day. I really miss reading blogs. And lastly, I am going to start going to the gym again. Chester and I went last year and then I got sick and I can't excercise when I can't breathe.LOL But we just never got back in the habit of going. So I am going to start my regimen Monday because it really does help strengthen my lungs.
So have any of you made New Year resoulutions or are you just going to set goals for yourself? Share your goals with us. Happy New Year!!

I'm all for setting goals. I think the one's you've set are doable and along the lines of the ones I am setting for myself. With me it will be getting more exercise, taking time to play tunes on my Yamaha keyboard and redecorating one room at a time until I love my home again. I think we'll do just fine if we make the effort to accomplish our goals. Wishing you a creative and happy year in 2012.

The only "resolution" I do is to not make any resolutions - that way I won't feel crushed when they don't pan out. Goals I do - daily, weekly, monthly, and otherwise. Not always successful either - but the theme of this year's string of goals is "balance" - I so need to find some. Wishing you a wonderful new year filled with joys, promises, and blessings....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
