HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I want to wish every one of my blogging friends a very HAPPY, BLESSED and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!
Brenda from The Rusty Thimble made an interesting New Years idea. Instead of making resoulutions, set goals for yourself. So this year I have decided to set some goals for me. I am going to be reasonable because I know that I can only do so much.
But I am going to try to get organized and set times for certain things. I have decided to try to sell 100 items this year. I am also going to organize my house so that I can keep it clean and still have time to craft. I am going to start playing my fiddle again. It calms me when nothing else can and I miss playing it. I have let everthing get in the way and this year I am going to make at least 30 minutes a day for playing my fiddle. I am also going to take time to read blogs every day, even if its just a few each day. I really miss reading blogs. And lastly, I am going to start going to the gym again. Chester and I went last year and then I got sick and I can't excercise when I can't breathe.LOL But we just never got back in the habit of going. So I am going to start my regimen Monday because it really does help strengthen my lungs.
So have any of you made New Year resoulutions or are you just going to set goals for yourself? Share your goals with us. Happy New Year!!

My First Cricut Project

I am soooo excited with my new cricut machine!! My niece who is a pro at scrapbooking came down last night and helped me make my first project! She brought her alphabet cartridge with her so that I could make a thank you card for the ladies of my Sunday School Class and I think it is adorable. So now my mind is reeling with ideas of what I can make with my cricut.!!LOL
So needless to say, I went and bought my own alphabet cartridge today!LOL So here are pics of my first cricut card making project. Tell me what you think?

I Must Have Been Very Good??

I was either very good last year or someone felt very sorry for me. (I think it was the latter).LOL But I got a Cricut Imagine for Christmas!!!!! And what makes this so special is that my Darling Husband never, ever buys craft or sewing items for me and this was his idea!! Now if I can learn to use it I will be flying high.LOL Britt frowned and told him that they are suppose to be downloading my "junk", not adding more.LOL So needless to say I did the happy dance for Christmas! WOOT WOOT!!
I also got 3 bottles of my shampoo and got really excited. Everyone thought I had finally lost it. But I would have had to have it to loose it.ROFLMBO! But I have very bad allergies to strong odors and it literally shuts me down when I come in contact with strong odors. The only shampoo I could use was Sun Silk and the U.S. decided not to carry it anymore and I am between a rock and a hard place to get shampoo. By oldest daughter found some at Big Lots and bought me 3 bottles so now you know why I got excited!
I also got a tricycle from The Country House that I have wanted for years and could never pay for. I am going to make me a ragged Raggedy Ann to sit on it and put it on my fireplace, I got Reebocks, a deep fryer and I forgot what else. So I really did have a wonderful Christmas!! And I got to spend Christmas with my family. What else could a girl ask for?
So was Santa good to you? Tell us what made your Christmas special!

My Christmas Ornie Swap!

I entered a Christmas Ornie Swap on Prim Pals and they came on Friday and WOW!!! I can't believe the adorable ornies I received! There weere 10 people in each group and I only entered the first group. Next year I am going to enter both groups. These ladies are amazing with their creativity! What never ceases to amaze me is that I have been in lots of swaps and never received two of the same thing. It's hard to believe that you have 10 people making ornies and no two are alike! Well here's my ornies. The 10th would have been mine and oops, I gave it away.LOL
