My Newest Creation

I have meant to make one of these Pumpkin Pie with Pilgrim Crows for a couple of years and always got sidetracked. Well I finally made it and I LOVE it!!!! My Newest Creation and More

In the last 4 issues of Create and Decorate, Wendy Waldron from Whimsy Street Designs has shared a pinkeep for each season and I love these pinkeeps! Thanks to Jacquie from Hand of Belapeck, I now know how to get wool here and fix it for crafting! Thanks Jacquie!! So here is my first wool pinkeep creation. It is listed in my Etsy shop.

I love this Poinsettia Pinkeep!! I will have the fall pinkeep finished in a couple of days that I made from the wool that Jacquie sent me. I will post pics of it then. Another Great Day!

Thanks girls for wishing me more great days this week because I think it is happening! I got my witch's boots from Vicky today and they are AWESOME!!! She also sent me the cutest owl hand towel and a little pumpkin hanger! This has got me in the spirit of decorating for fall and Halloween!

Well she told me that she goes to the thrift stores and buys wool garments, washes and dries them and then uses them. So today I went and checked one of our thrift stores and found several wool pieces for $1.00 each!!!! I am in the process of fixing them and when I get finished I will post a pic of all the wool I found!! I just hope this week keeps on going this good.LOLOLOL

My Week Has Started Out GREAT!

My week is starting out great. I teach the Adult Women Sunday School Class and yesterday a lady in my Sunday School Class bought me this beautiful pot of Mums with a card that thanked me for the way I teach our Sunday School Class! Well needless to say I was shocked! I just don't look at myself as a good teacher. I believe in learning together and apparently they like it. But it did feel really good to be appreciated and they are my favorite color! .

And then this morning I checked my Etsy shop and had a message from Vicky to check her blog and I WON her Witch's Boots Giveaway!!!!! I so loved that centerpiece and could not believe I won. I am sooooooo escited!!! Thank you Vicky!!!!! Check out Vicky's blog for some fun reading and great giveaways. http://vicky-myart.blogspot.com/ Happy Birthday Vicky! I hope you had as much fun on your big 50 Birthday as I did when I turned 50! And I put up my last run of chow chow today so canning season is over and I can now start crafting for Thanksgiving and Christmas and catch up on blogging! So I feel really blessed today.

First, I would like to say that I am computer illiterate and without the help of a few good friends, I would not have been able to have this blog.
